What is in your freezer and how can you make it into meals this week. I urge you to use what is in your freezer to make some meals this week.
I have Steak and hamburger meat in my freezer as well as Shrimp scampi. cooked turkey meat, Broccoli and cheese and creamed spinach, and cranberries and corn tortillas.
In my refrigerator I have: Fresh blue berries, black berries, and grapers, lots of cheese. And 1.5 dozen eggs, bologna, and yogurt,milk, and cranberry juice.
So what can i make with just what I have on hand?
Shrimp scampi over pasta with creamed spinach
Hamburger helper beef stroganoff
Steak, rice, And Broccoli
Biscuit tostadas with caned biscuits beef cheese and Hot sauce
Eggs, Fried bologna, and toast
crock pot of beans ( pinto and black bean) use to make refried beans for burritos with turkey meat.
With a few extra ingredients I could make
Mexican Lasagna - need tomatoes
Chili- need tomato sauce and rotel
Cranberry muffins- sugar
Banana muffins- sugar
Turkey quesadilla- flour tortillas
Steak tacos- tortillas
Nachos- tortilla chips, tomatoes, onions
These are a few things that I could make with what i have in the refrigerator/ freezer with what I have on hand or with a few extra ingredients.
What can you make?? This is a great way to stretch your food budget. Lets save more money this week with less shopping.
